New troublemaker in the house....

Before I go on with my vacation diary....

We have two new troublemaker in our house....

After our beloved old cat died Sascha and I were sure that we would get new cats but we would have never expected that this would happen that soon....

I’m in love with Norwegian Forest Cats for a longer time now and after we had to put Samtpfote to sleep I decided to get in touch with a breeder.
The first contact was very nice and I called her the next day. I knew that I wanted two young cats and absolutely preferred siblings. The breeder had had two a few month old kitten that she wanted to stay together in their new family....
A few hours later Jesabel, Cassian and I were on the way to visit the cats and it took about one millisecond to fall in love with the kitten.... probably much less....
By the end of the day we had a very good feeling and I think kitten mum Cornelia could also see us as the new family of her little cuties....

We agreed to think about the decision for one day and I had about 24 hours to tell Sascha that a) we already had looked for new cats, b) we already had seen the new kittens and c) we were absolutely sure that they should become our new family members....

Let’s say Sascha was not really impressed that I already made a decision. He was still very sad about the loss of our old cat so it took him a few hours to get used to the idea.... but since he really likes cats.... and after he saw a few pics....

The next day Cornelia and her lovely son came to bring us our new family members....

Cashmere and Cinderella de la monde féerique....

As a wrap geek I think that Cashmere is the perfect name for our male kitten since his coat is so incredibly soft.... I couldn’t think of a better name for him....

And especially our little girls were absolutely happy to hear that his sister’s name is Cinderella.... perfect for a little princess and for a household with little girls....

It took Cashmere just a few hours to get used to our busy family life.... Cinderella needed a little bit longer but it started to get better every day and now she feels home here as well I think....

For now – here are a few pics.... and no.... I haven’t wrapped Cashmere in one of my Cashmere wraps so far....

And I used the money I had actually set aside for a Macbook Pro and an Ipad I wanted for ages.... but who really needs a Macbook or an Ipad, right?....

Cinderella de la monde féerique.... aka little princess....

Valldemossa....

Vacation Day 2 Part 2:

After a long breakfast.... yep.... with lots of fresh orange juice....

.... we went to Valldemossa to visit the old former monastery where Frédéric Chopin and George Sand spent some time in 1838-1839....

Here are some details because I don’t know when or if I will find the time to write more about it....

The wrap I picked was again the short Hemp Indio and it did a great job as usual. Easy wrapping during the day and a nice nursing cover and blanket when we were in a restaurant for lunch....

Back home I enjoyed a long relaxing bath and some serious dressing up before we went to meet our friends....
We spent the evening together in a nice restaurant in the Puerto Portals Marina in Portals Nous and had a great time....

Oranges.... unlimited....

Vacation Day 2:

Cassian and I started the second day of our vaccation pretty early. The weather was beautiful and I wanted to take some pics before our breakfast....

The house is in the middle of 50.000qm orange and lemon trees and I can’t get enough of this amazing scenery....

So here is a bunch of pics I made that morning.... and yep.... seriously more oranges than you can eat....

Vacation....

Our belated Honeymoon vacation was amazing and we enjoyed every single second while the older four kids had a great time with my inlaws....

Flying with Cassian for the first time was easier than expected and we had luck and got a brand new rental car.

Our Finca was so much more beautiful than expected and the weather in Spain was great as well.... warm but not too hot and a nice breeze during the days....

In other words – the ultimate perfect babywearing weather....

Day 1:

After the flight and some time in the finca we decided to spend the afternoon at the marina, watching some nice boats and enjoying a delicious ice....
Wrap of the day was my beloved size 2 Hemp Indio that I dyed in deep berry colours before Cassian was born. It was actually a splitted size 7 so it runs a bit short.
I did a simple ruck with a knot under Cassian's bum and it was pretty comfortable as usual. Not a wrap length that I would choose for a day trip or a long hike but great for quick up and downs and a wearing time up to two or three hours....

.... and some random pics I made in the backyard of the finca....

 .... more pics to come....
